This is my book, IF I HAD ONE WISH. It has been
made into a movie called YOU WISH, which premiered
on the Disney Channel on January 10th (2003)! It stars
A.J. Trauth from Even Stevens, Spencer Breslin - the
"kid" from the Bruce Willis movie of the same name,
Lelaine from the Lizzie MacQuire show, and Tim Reid
from WKRP in Cincinnati. Itwas filmed in New Zealand
and my husband and I traveled there last summer to
visit the set. New Zealand was beautiful, and getting to
watch some of the filming and meet the producer and
the young actors was a thrill. Here are some pictures we
took and some promo photos from the movie:

| A warning for fans of IF I HAD ONE WISH - the movie is VERY different from the book. As an author, I was disappointed, of course, when I saw all the changes in the script, but after meeting the producer and these talented young actors, and seeing the movie, I've regained my enthusiasm. I think it's a terrific movie. Hope you'll be watching for it! |
